Understanding Your Personal Values
Our value system doesn’t get a lot of air time. It works behind the scenes of our daily lives, influencing just about everything we do both in public and in private. Our values are the lens in which we view the world. They determine how we work in relationships and when we’re willing to fight for something or offer a compromise. Values help us set boundaries. Living in accordance with our personal and unique value system helps us unplug from drama and find greater peace.
In this class you'll learn:
• A new awareness around your personal values.
• How to use the value tree (my free download) to its fullest and in a way that’s best for you.
• Why values from our family of origin are important and whether to keep them or let them go.
• Why it’s important to understand your own value system and the value system of those you love.
• How values affect your employment and your work.
• When and how to talk to others about your values.
• How your values can help you set boundaries.
• And more
If you haven’t already downloaded it, you’ll also receive a copy of the value tree. An in-depth handout will also be offered so you’ll be able to continue your learning after class is over.
