How To Find the Right Therapist for You

One thing that always brought me satisfaction, as a Latter-day Saint therapist, was being able to help members of the Church find the right therapist to meet their needs. Like most therapists, I specialized. If someone came to me with an issue outside of my specialization, or if a member of the Church had questions about how to find the right therapist, I would help them figure out the necessary steps to begin their therapeutic journey. I’ve taken that information and created a video to help you walk through the process of finding the right therapist for you in five steps. These steps include:

1. Determining your need
2. Looking for referrals
3. Choosing your top three therapists
4. Calling and making the appointment
5. And if it’s important to you, asking the therapist about their feelings around the Church.

In my video, I go into detail about each of these steps so that you can begin your therapeutic process with confidence.
